The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has temporarily suspended the medical license of a doctor accused of inappropriate conduct with two female patients.
Dr. Bruce Pierce, an obstetrician-gynecologist formerly practicing at Delaware Valley OBGYN & Princeton Midwifery in Lawrenceville, faces allegations of professional misconduct, gross negligence, incompetence, and other violations, according to state authorities.
Can’t say enough about the kindness and compassion of this law office. They helped me immensely with a difficult case and the level of support they provided me was stellar.

Experiencing sexual abuse can be profoundly traumatic, often leaving victims feeling powerless. It encompasses acts such as grooming, privacy violations, harassment, or unwanted physical contact, and can result in enduring physical, psychological, and emotional harm. However, victims have the opportunity to pursue justice and hold perpetrators accountable for the damages caused, including both physical and emotional injuries.
If you or a loved one experienced an inappropriate encounter or abuse by suspended Dr. Bruce Pierce, you may be eligible to file a claim.
Bruce Pierce, an OB/GYN practicing in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, has been accused of sexually abusing two female patients during routine examinations. Following these allegations, the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners temporarily suspended his medical license in late November 2024.
The cases involve two longtime patients who described inappropriate conduct during medical exams in 2023. Both incidents reportedly occurred after Pierce dismissed medical chaperones or conducted the exams without one present. The patients' testimonies were considered credible by the board, which cited the allegations as serious breaches of medical trust and professionalism. Text messages between Pierce and one of the patients further corroborated the claims, with Pierce apologizing and expressing concern for his career. The state is conducting an ongoing investigation into the matter, though no criminal charges have yet been announced.
Survivors of sexual abuse possess remarkable resilience in the face of challenges that can include emotional struggles like anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as physical harm from non-consensual acts. In the most difficult cases, survivors may grapple with thoughts of self-harm, yet their courage in confronting these experiences is a testament to their strength.
Taking the step to come forward and seek justice is empowering. In criminal proceedings, the focus is on holding the perpetrator accountable and ensuring the safety of others. Survivors also have the right to seek compensation through the civil justice system which may hold perpetrators and the organizations that employ them accountable.
Feelings of guilt, shame, or difficulty trusting others are common after such experiences, but they do not define a survivor’s journey. Each survivor deserves the opportunity to heal, rebuild trust, and form meaningful connections. Justice and closure are not only possible but essential steps toward reclaiming power and building a future filled with hope and strength.
